Student Services

Academic Support Services

Academic support teachers work in conjunction with classroom teachers to address the needs of all students. These services are provided on a daily basis inside and outside the classroom setting in either a whole group, small group, or one-on-one situations, depending on the needs of the students.

Special Education Services

Special Education services are provided for children with a disability as defined by state and federal laws. The Parent Advisory Council (P.A.C.) is a group of concerned parents who meet with the Director of Special Education to discuss issues of importance to the special education program in Northbridge. If you are interested in joining this group, contact the Northbridge Elementary School office for more information.

If you have concerns about your child's progress in preschool, kindergarten, and grade 1, discuss them with your child's teacher. He or she can offer suggestions and advise you on ways to meet your child's needs.
